Twin Drills

TwinDrills is the name we use to release games produced by the indie game development duo made up of Tim 'Infini' Leonard (the resident code monkey) and Jordan 'Jordizzle' Chewning (our amazing pixel artist). With the additional help of Steven 'Surasshu' Velema from YogurtBox who produces our amazing chiptune music!

We produce games primarily that we want to play, in the hope that others will love them as much as we do.

We started producing games roughly around 2008. After serveral years of non-starters and year long breaks we released our first public project - Zombie Grinder.

Zombie Grinder is currently our main focus of development, aiming to hopefully release a gold build sometime in the near future. Our current progress on this, and playable builds, can be found by browsing through the Zombie Grinder category on the left.

The success and community that has built up with Zombie Grinder have greatly inspired us, giving us many ideas for future projects - so watch this space :).

Zombie Grinder

Zombie Grinder is the debut game of TwinDrills.

It's a multi-platform (windows, mac, linux!) cooperative multiplayer arcade game, reminiscent in style and gameplay of retro games like 'Zombies Ate My Neighbors' and 'Super Smash TV!', but with the added benefit of some newer game mechanics - achievements, ranking, player-customization, rpg style stats and so forth.

The game sports a variety of different game modes, from co-operative 'campaign' style levels, to wave maps and even the classic 'pvp' style game modes - deathmatch, capture the 'bag' and so forth. All of these mods are bristling with a variety of weapons and items, all lovingly displayed in Jordan's classic quirky pixel-art style.

Where can I download?

Please be aware that the game is still very much in development, the downloads below are what we consider pre-pre-alpha; in other words, a long long long time away from being properly released. That said, it's relatively stable, so have fun!

Our preferential distribution method at the moment is currently Desura, you can download the game using it from the following link;

If you like the game consider donating towards us, we'll even give you some free stuff. For more information look here.

Don't want to use a distribution client?

If you don't want to use desura or any other game clients you can instead just download a standalone, portable, zip folder.

These (rarely-updated) videos are taken from a quick trawl of youtube, only a couple are made by us - so we take no responsibility for their content!

Press Reviews

Occasionally we get some very nice people posting reviews and general coverage of our games on their websites, when we notice them we put them up here (if you post a review, send us a message, we would love to hear!).

We aren't selective over which reviews we post, so hopefully the reviews should give you a nice unbiased view of the game.

This is only a small selection of the coverage available, if you want to see more, google :) - Especially for youtube reviews (there are far to many to list!).
